NWU 2018-2019 Junior Sounders Program!

Following our recent partnership with the Seattle Sounders FC, for the 2018-2019 season Northwest United are proud to annouce our Junior Sounders Program! This program is for players aged U10 and below, that allows them to play within our club and the Regional Club League for just $500 tuition fees!

To play at the highest level, especially for our younger players, it often comes with a high cost. Tuition fees help to pay for our club facilities, operations and coaches, but this can come at an expensive charge. This can often prevent families from being a part of our club.

For the upcoming season, tuition costs for both boys and girls born between 2009-2011 will be $500 for all players to play year round soccer. Our black teams will be able to participate in the Regional Club League, the highest level of youth soccer in Washington state, and our red and white teams will be playing in local leagues and organised scrimmages. Alongside tuition fees, our team fees which help run the cost and logistical side of the teams will also be priced at a lower rate. Our Junior Academy teams will be entering less tournaments in the summer, as well as having access to our 'NWU uniform bundles'  to allow tot
al costs and travel to stay low throughout the year.

Following our official partnership with Seattle Sounders FC, this program now allows players of all abilities a low cost pathway into our club. With a similar set up to the Sounders Discovery Program, players will train and play games at in our club with a view to Seattle Sounders Academy coaches identifying players for their programs and the next level.

"For the last 18 months the club has really focused on how we can invite more youth players and families into our club. With so many youth players in our County, we want to help provide players with high level coaching and pathways to higher levels of soccer, something that cost can sometimes prevent" comments Kristian Powell, NWU Director of Coaching. "With the club lowering costs for our younger players, we can now provide opportunities for all players, families and communities to play year round soccer at the best level, with the best coaches and facilities in the Skagit area".We look forward to watching more families and players enter our club for the 2018 season with this new and exciting opportunity!
