Developing Elite Players through Technical Training

What is the Technical Training Program?

Northwest United FC offers extra training sessions for all players within the club. Technical training is to provide a third session a week to all of our players to focus on their techncial and tactical execution.

This is an opportunity for our players to receive additional guidance and training to prepare for any further opportunities available now and in the future such as: The Washington State EPD teams, the PSPL Academy, Sounders Discovery Program, College, or, for a few select players, the ID2 program which is a pathway to the National team.

Technical trainings are run by Juan Ortiz. Through his knowledge and experience gained over his years at NWU, he provides technical and tactical sessions that will allow the players in our club extra training and motivation. Using the club's curriculum, these programs will allow players to cover all aspects of soccer with our elite players in the club.

Techncial Trainings occur during the months of Sept.-Nov. & Jan.-Mar.

Please see Club Calendar for dates and times for Technical Trainings.
