STAFF

Matt Yeoman has been involved with soccer nearly his entire life.  Growing up here in the Skagit Valley, Matt played goalkeeper at the rec, club, ODP (state and regional) high school (MVHS state champ 94’) Skagit Valley College and Whitworth University levels.

Matt holds a USSF D coaching license, United Soccer Coaches state and regional goalkeeping certificate, and USSF referee license.  He has coached both teams as well as position-specific training of goalkeepers for the past 20 years.  Northwest United goalkeeper coach in early 2000’s and again 2021-present, Mount Vernon High School boys/girls goalkeeper coach 2017-present,  SVC 2016.

Matt’s family consists of his wife Celicia, daughter and two sons.  When not involved with soccer, Matt enjoys travel, hiking, and being outdoors with his family.  He enjoys following the EPL, is getting back into Serie A and follows great goalkeepers and players in many leagues.  He is a supporter of both the Sounders and OL Reign.
